Gloucestershire’s Best Wedding Venues | Dance Off Wedding DJs
Eastington Park
Eastington Park Gloucestershire is a stunning wedding venue that is perfect for a traditional wedding setting. It is a grand manor house that has a lovely entrance and picturesque grounds.
The venue is full of original character with some modern touches in the bar area. The rooms are spacious and staff are organised and always extra friendly! This really helps the flow of any wedding day. The venue flows between spaces with plenty of space for guests in the grand rooms and pretty outdoor areas.
The Wedding DJ always finishes at midnight but this is one venue where guests can party on a little later in the bar area with a bluetooth speaker system. Great for the party animals among us!
Over Farm Barn
Over Farm Barn is situated in Over, Gloucester, Gloucestershire. It is a Farm attraction that definitely mixes work with pleasure. The farm shop features a great selection of produce with a recent cafe addition. Over farm have many seasonal attractions, pick your own fruit & veg, and animal attractions year round for the children and adults (or big kids!).
Over Farm have their beautiful rustic barn available to hire for weddings and private functions. The barn is a beautiful build with wooden beams a feature throughout and a large open mezzanine floor overlooking the main room. There is a bar and courtyard area with fire pit, skittle alley and ample seating for guests to relax and enjoy. The barn has had a recent upgrade with large glass paneling and new door at the entrance. This venue is perfect for anyone planning a country, rustic or boho wedding theme. We love Over Barn and have hosted events here in the past as well as providing Wedding DJ & Photo Booth services many times!
Elmore Court
Elmore Court is a stunning wedding venue just outside of Gloucester in the village of Elmore. The venue is situated in the attractive estate of a grade 2 listed mansion. Elmore Court has a lovely layout and high end finish.
The venue features a large main hall that mixes a contemporary feel with rustic charm. Great views and access to the garden and the most unique dance floor area in the county. A Wedding DJ’s dream! The first dance starts and the curtains are thrown back to reveal the dance floor which features a custom Function One sound system and above head a unique LED lighting system and a circle lighting rig. These features come together with the Wedding DJ to create the ultimate party area that is guaranteed to have the guests dancing late into the night!
Dance Off Mobile DJs have played a few memorable wedding here, it is a special venue for sure!
Naas Court Farm
Naas Court Farm tag line is ‘Exclusively Weddings, Exclusively Yours’. It is based close to the Severn Estuary in Naas, Lydney within the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
The venue is relatively new, though the restoration of the barn and adjoining buildings has been going on since 2010.
The result is impressive, there is a traditional, rustic farm feel to the estate that is extenuated through the roof of the main barn. I don’t think I have ever seen a green corrugated domed roof at any other wedding venue! But we love it!
The buildings hold their heritage and the place feels very authentic, while being perfect for weddings. The inside of the main stone barn is attractive and huge! Plenty of room for guests and entertainment.
There are beautifully restored shelters all around the courtyard that can host the ceremony, entertainment, games and more. Love it here and hope to be back soon, a very unique gem of a venue.
Tortworth Court
Tortworth Court is a gothic mansion located in South Gloucestershire close to Bristol. It is a large venue offering accommodation, fine dining, leisure facilities and beautiful spaces perfect for weddings and celebrations.
Talking of beautiful spaces Tortworth Court features maybe the most impressive in the county ‘The Orangery’. A conservatory built in 1874 has a special ornamental glass ceiling and fine detail you just don’t see on a regular basis.
Other (larger) suites are also available, the venue includes an arboretum for wedding photos , extensive grounds and outdoor areas.
Kingscote Barn
Kingscote Barn is set in a large first class Cotswold estate. The Cotswolds feel is there from the off as you meander through the country as you enter the long driveway in.
You have a pretty entrance room that leads through to a well stocked bar. Next door the wow factor starts as you move into the converted barn.
Stone walls, a notably high ceiling, original beams and a mezzanine balcony make this impressive space. There are well landscaped gardens, a pretty courtyard and all the space you could possibly need for your wedding.
Staff here are extra professional and well drilled! The venue also has an interesting variety of accommodation and is the perfect home for a wedding in Gloucestershire.
Ellenbrough Park
Ellenborough Park is a beautiful spa hotel and wedding venue in the Cotswolds near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire .
The venue is converted from an old manor house that has a deep history with parts of the estate going back to the 1400s or earlier.
Ellenborough Park is renowned for it’s top notch spa facilities and refined dining experience which focuses on the best seasonal ingredients.
The space is clean, modern and luxurious. The Old Chapel features double height ceilings, original windows and a mezzanine looking over the DJ and dancefloor which comes alive at the wedding party. The food and drink served at Ellenborough Park follow that luxurious theme. we have played here a few times and always had a special experience.
Stroud Brewery
Stroud Brewery is another venue we really love! Located just outside of Stroud at the brewery HQ they have a first floor function room available for wedding reception use.
The venue has a modern, rustic feel. The entrance is lined with amazing artwork and information about the brewery which is certified organic and has a great ethos that spills into the vibe of the venue. The decor is tasteful throughout and there is an outside balcony area, there is a distinct aroma of hops which is pleasant if you love a good craft beer.
We love a venue that thinks about how the room sounds and the attention to detail is covered. The room has acoustic treatment which makes the room sound as good as it looks.
Being a local brewery of course you can expect the best quality drinks with a focus on local not global. It is obviously a popular hub for the community with plenty going on.
Hatherley Manor
Hatherley Manor is based outside of Gloucester, along the pretty lanes of Hatherley. Far enough from the city to have a country feel, but close enough to offer the convienience of the city.
It is a beautiful venue with pretty grounds. The hotel is complete with spa facilities that are busy and popular. The manor offers flexibility with 5 function rooms all perfect for weddings.
Hatherley Manor is well staffed and in our experience, friendly and helpful. A few times going that extra mile to help which is a great trait for a wedding venue!
De Vere Cotswold Water Park
De Vere Cotswold Water Park is located in the the lakes of Cotswold Water Park near South Cerney, Gloucestershire.
The hotel and it’s suites are perfect for modern, white weddings. Clean, ultra modern decor with floor to ceiling glass windows and balconys looking out onto the lakes.
The grounds are really stunning and there is an air of luxury about the venue. So it has to be perfect for a Gloucestershire based wedding.
The Barn @ Upcote
The Barn @ Upcote is another Cotswolds based venue located just outside of Cheltenham. The long sweeping drive takes you through the countryside to the heart of the estate. The outdoor areas are striking with impressive landscaping. Walk down some steps to the courtyard which is a perfect social space for weddings in the summer months.
There are 2 main buildings, one being the charming converted stone barn which is restored to the highest standard. It is an impressive space and the central hub of the wedding. The other main building ‘The Sheep Shed’ is home to the bar, facilities and a comfortable seating area where guests unwind and catch up.
Next door the ‘Grain Store’ is a large room that is often used for the evening party. The whole area is large, clean, modern and bright with some lovely rustic features. The acoustics of the space could be improved on, it is a ‘boomy’ room. If you have the choice use the barn for music. Overall the venue is among the very best in the county!
Tewkesbury Park
Tewkesbury Park is located just outside the town in beautiful, flat countryside with amazing views.
The wedding suite and bar areas are beautifully decorated, modern and spotless. Floor to ceiling windows look out to beautiful views of the surrounding area. The suite itself is a huge space, ideal for larger weddings.
Staff are friendly, professional and complementary! It has always been a pleasure to supply here.
Bear of Rodbrough
The Bear of Rodbrough is a beautiful and historical hotel nestled in Rodbrough Common near Stroud. Originally built as an ale house in the 17th century the hotel is a characterful venue that oozes originality. It is mouses around narrow corridoors that each bring you into another featureful space. Bar areas, seating areas, library, reception, terrace room and bar area with beautiful garden the venue has alot to offer for weddings.
You will notice the smells, from log fires to amazing smelling food. The bar has a great selection of premium drinks and snacks. Staff are friendly and happy to help, some faces have been at the venue for years which speaks volumes.
Weddings happen across multiple rooms moving seamlessly from area to area. Taking guests on a journey through the venue. We love it here and recommend Bear of Rodbrough.
Egypt Mill
Egypt Mill is another venue that is steeped in history. Located in Nailsworth near Stroud, it was a 16th centrury mill that has transformed to be a stunning bar, restaurant, hotel and wedding venue popular with locals.
Quaint pretty grounds surround the beautiful original mill. Cross the bridge over the pretty stream to arrive at the main enterance.
The Hotel has suites ideal for accomodating weddings. Spaces ooze original features perfectly balanced with a high end modern element. Wooden beams, great bars and comfortable seating look out onto the pretty surroundings and gardens. The food and drink is respected and highly recommended in the local area.
The venue is maybe better for small to medium weddings. Definately an attractive venue to consider in the county.
Stonehouse Court
Stonehouse Court Hotel is an attractive hotel located in a beautiful manor house overlooking Stroud Valley & canal.
The hotel has a high end feel and finish throughout. The Caroline Suite is a purpose built venue for your wedding reception. The suite is seperated from the hotel itself boasting exclusivity for your wedding party.
It features a clean modern large suite with attractive fairy lighting, bar area and patio. The room is a blank canvas with tons of space. Plenty of room for your wedding decor choices and I would recommend uplighting here.
Stone Barn
Stone Barn is a beautiful wedding venue located in the Cotswolds. The venue has a high end finish, beautiful countryside setting, top notch food/drink selection and a state of the art Funktion One sound system.
Stone Barn Weddings are well known for the quality of their food. The venue has indoor open fire cooking facilities featuring rotisseries and grills. They use high quality, locally sourced ingredients and the cooking style adds to the flavour of the food! They also host feast nights showing this off to full effect.
Hyde House
Hyde House is a lovely victorian stone house with adjoining barn located in the heart of the Cotswolds that is popular for wedding celebrations.
The venue is an impressive mix of old and new with original features mixed seamlessly with a clean modern facilities and decor.
The venue has a luxury feel, the spaces are large and staff are friendly and helpful. The venue really fits any theme. Beams, gardens and decor easily lean to a boho/vintage/rustic theme. Also the clean modern feel suits a more traditional, white wedding.
We have only been here twice but love the venue and hope to be back soon!
Frogmill
Frogmill is a grand venue in the Cotswolds situated in an attractive estate aet back off the A436.
Frogmill is a large venue popular for its great English focused food, drink and accomodation. They host everything from weddings to corporate parties and much more.
The Mill Room is beautifully converted with high vaulted ceilings and french styling. There are a host of top notch facilities, games room and exclusive use of a huge space, perfect for large weddings.
The Barn @ Berkeley
Located between Gloucester and Bristol on the A38 at Berkeley, fondly known by locals as the home of Cattle Country Farm Park The Barn at Berkeley is a family run wedding venue.
The venue offer the full wedding package from the ceremony to the party with plenty of extra features. The barn features a huge hall with space for lots of guests, perfect for bigger weddings. Stone walls give the venue a traditional country feel and there is opportunity to work with local suppliers to decorate the room further to really make the space your own. We have seen lovely fairy light decoration here, ceiling drapes and uplighting really works well too.
The Barn @ Berkeley always gets amazing reviews on the food and we regularly see guests using the Cattle Country Park which looks like a bit of fun and great photo opportunity. The barn looks great at night time and the large dance floor is ripe for a rocking wedding DJ/Disco.
Moor Farm Barn Weddings
Moor Farm is based in Moreton Valance just outside of Gloucester on the A38. The drive is lined with beautiful mature trees which is a lovely entrance. The Farm features glamping/camping accommodation and a rustic barn available for hire for weddings. The barn features a mix of old stone walls, wood and corrugated metal roofing with drapes and festoon lighting mixing the rustic with boho chic. There is plenty of garden space for guests, when we provided DJ services at Moor Farm the couple hired in a range of inflatable games in the garden areas. We loved the relaxed warm vibe here and had a great party.
Leonardos Cheltenham
Leonardos is located just of the M5 on the way into Cheltenham. Due to its location it doesn’t have large grounds. Inside the hotel there is a wealth of facilities and suites that are perfect to host weddings and guests in comfortable surroundings.
Suites are clean and spacious with led mood lighting, excellent bars and friendly professional staff. The hotel is well equipt to host and cater for large weddings.
